Had a ball on a very local stretch of the River Arrow , initially , all seemed very quite , but it wasn’t long and a few risers were seen , particularly along two glides . with the low water , stealth was absolutely essential ….. Fished a crippled mayfly pattern which proved to be very successful , with splashy explosive takes ….. fantastic !!!!! A good stamp of fish today , sizes ranging from eight to eleven inches , and the usual gorgeous Arrow colours , and fat as football hooligans … lovely ! Back here again one evening in the week ……… the mayfly action here is certainly getting frantic !!!!
